As we close the chapter on the festive period and start to look towards January, we just want to say how lovely it’s been to see so many of you getting some movement in over the past few weeks. Whether it was one session or a few, showing up in any way over the festive period really matters.
I think I can probably speak for a lot of us when I say I’m not quite ready to fully immerse myself back into the hustle and bustle of everyday life or jump straight back onto the moving treadmill at full speed and that’s okay.
So for January, there are a few things we’re choosing to adopt.
This month is about finding our feet again, resetting, and gently getting ready for the things we want to pave the year ahead with. Let’s be honest we’ve all been in and out of different routines since November, so instead of adding more to an already full plate, we’re focusing on taking a few things away.
Over the next few weeks, both online and in person, we’ll be inviting you to start thinking about what you’d like to achieve within HQ this year. So this month we dedicate to a Jolly January.
Jolly January is all about taking a breath and enjoying the little things a bit more. To move is a privilege. To see the sunrise, to feel your body working, to take time out for yourself these are the moments that matter. It’s not about rushing, fixing, or overhauling everything at once. It’s about easing back in, finding our feet, and letting movement support how we feel, not just what we do.
January is about painting the picture you don’t need to have it all figured out from day one.
