Nourish November week 4

Lucy Thomson. 25 November 2025

We’re already into Tuesday ...where does the time even go?, but as we drift into the final week of November, it really feels like the days get faster and the weeks get shorter. Suddenly Christmas, the big C-word is peeking around the corner, twinkling lights and all.

At this time of year, it’s so common to feel your motivation, discipline, or drive begin to dip. The darker mornings, the cold evenings, the endless to-do lists… they take their toll. But here’s your gentle reminder: You don’t need motivation to take care of yourself. You don’t need overflowing discipline or determination every single day. You are capable of doing the things that support your wellbeing even when you don’t feel like it. Sometimes we move simply because it’s part of our routine. Because we know how good we feel afterwards. Because it’s a small act of showing up for ourselves. And yes, it's rarely easy to roll out of bed when it’s still dark, or to leave the warmth of your house for an evening session but it is worth it. Pouring into your own cup for even 30–50 minutes a few times a week can be the difference between starting the day with a foggy mind… and starting it with clarity. Or ending the day feeling heavy… versus ending it decompressed, lighter, and more at ease.

That is your “why.” Not just weight loss. Not just looking good in Christmas outfits. But caring for your mind, your mood, your energy, your resilience, day in and day out. And sometimes, it’s the little joys that carry us through: the glow of Christmas lights in town, your tree already sparkling in the corner (yes, even if it’s two weeks early!), or the comfort of a festive coffee cup in your hands. These tiny moments become anchors reminders that joy can be small, simple, and woven into everyday life.

November has all been about Nourishment This month, our theme has been all about nourishment. Not just through food, but through movement, habits, and the tiny choices that make us feel more like ourselves.

Nourishment looks like:

✨ Getting out for a crisp walk in the cold air

✨ Choosing meals that make you feel energised and satisfied

✨ Moving your body because it clears your mind, not just because it burns calories

✨ Decorating early because it sparks joy

✨ Being kind, gentle, and patient with yourself

✨ Noticing what feels good and letting more of that in

As we close out November and step into the sparkle of December, remember: you are not here to be perfect. You’re here to feel good, to feel supported, and to keep showing up in whatever way you can. Let’s move into the new week (and the new month) nourished, grounded, and celebrating every little win along the way. 💛
