September Stories

Lucy Thomson. 20 September 2026

I can’t believe how quickly we’re moving through September and that we’re about to head into our final full week of sessions at HQ before Reset Week begins.

This week has brought so many lovely moments and some incredible personal bests. Connie kicked off Monday morning with a brilliant deadlift PB, which was quite the way to start the week. We celebrated Kerry’s birthday on Tuesday and said happy holidays to Maya as she headed off on her holibobs.

It was lovely to cover Maya’s classes on Friday and see some faces I don’t always get the chance to coach. Now it’s Miz’s turn to head off on her holidays too. A big thank you to Claire for helping us hold the fort while everyone’s holidays have been happening.

A special shout out to Fiona and those very heavy kettlebell swings on Friday.

We finished the week with a lovely Saturday run from Troon to Ayr, followed by a visit to Puck Espresso in the Ayr town centre. If you’re passing by, we would absolutely recommend popping in for a delicious coffee.

We’re also very excited to welcome Kerri Major AKA The Dietitian Kitchen back to HQ as part of our reset week plans. It’s been a few years since Kerri last visited us, and we can’t wait to have her back. Kerri is a highly sought-after sports dietitian and someone we look up to greatly for her practical, evidence-based approach to nutrition. Having her come along to share her knowledge with everyone is something we would really love as many of you as possible to benefit from. We’re currently working out the best date and time for the workshop, whether that’s an evening or a weekend. It will be a ticketed event with a small cost, which will also include your choice of a delicious granola bowl or pastry from our friends at Sabai in Irvine, a coffee shop you’ll know we’re always ranting and raving about. More information will follow very soon.

However you’ve spent your weekend, we hope you’re feeling ready for the week ahead.

Let’s get those sessions booked and get another good week under our belts before we move into reset week.

Lot's of love always

Lucy and the team x
