Jolly June Recap

Lucy Thomson. 06 June 2026

That's another week done and dusted at HQ

It's been so lovely to see so many busy classes this week, especially with most of our 8am crew finally back from their many adventures. We love hearing all about your holidays and seeing everyone back into their routines again. Whilst the busier classes are always great fun, it's also been really nice spending a little more time with some of you in a smaller group setting too.

On Monday afternoon, I had our Nic and Annette as my little afternoon duo, and it was one of those sessions that really reminded me of exactly what we do here at HQ. Both ladies were following the same session, but it looked completely different for each of them based on what they needed, their goals and where they are in their own journey. Sometimes it's easy to forget that what we offer isn't just about turning up and doing a workout. It's about making training work for you, and sessions like that are a lovely reminder of exactly that.

This week we also waved goodbye to Fraser, Uné and little Anneline as they headed off on their Athens adventure. We hope you're all having the most amazing time making lots of memories together. We can't wait to hear all about it when you're back and hopefully squeeze you in a session while you're visiting too.

On Wednesday night we had our Cooki Run and it was so lovely to see such a mix of familiar faces and brand new faces joining us. Whether you came for the run, the cookies or just the company afterwards, thank you for coming along.

This weekend we'll be cheering on a huge HQ team taking part in Roon the Toon in Killie. We've got Elaine, Caroline, Keith, Miriam, myself and lots of other familiar HQ faces taking part, so if you're heading along, make sure to give everyone a big cheer.

As always, thank you for another brilliant week. Whether you've been in once or five times, whether you've smashed a PB or simply shown up when you didn't feel like it, we're really glad you're here.

Have a lovely weekend and we'll see you next week 💙 Lucy x
